ABSTRACT : Pressure
the economy and education of women who are increasingly advanced support more and more women
who went into the world of work. This causes many women to play
dual role in his life, namely the role as a worker and role as
wife / housewife who is the nature, this dual role is not
rarely cause conflict because of the division of attention to each
role. When doing his role as a worker, it is not uncommon for female workers
must also think about family problems, vice versa when running
his role as a housewife is not uncommon for office jobs
unfinished taking part of his time and mind.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of conflict
family-work on the performance of female employees in the Regional Water Company
Drink (PDAM) Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak City. This study uses
causality research methods or designs. The sample of this study was 43
employees, especially married women, use census sampling methods.
Data were collected by questionnaire and using linear regression analysis
double. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Partially, there are
one variable that is proven to significantly affect performance, i.e.
marriage pressure variable. (2) Simultaneously there is no significant influence
between pressure as parents, marital pressure, lack of involvement
as a wife, lack of involvement as a parent, and interference
work against performance.
