Abstract

ABSTRACT
Field Practice Guided (PLT) Yogyakarta State University which
held in 2017 is one of the conditions that must be taken for
Student of class of year 2014 to be able to arrange Final Project in Lecturing.
PLT at Autism Special School (SKA) Bina Anggita has been implemented by
students majoring in Special Education (PLB) on 18 September to
by November 15, 2017. The PLT group in this school consists of 8 students
PLB Autism specificity. During the PLT activities, students must practice
guided teaching as many as at least 6 meetings. Practice teaching that
the student is under the guidance of the Mentor Teacher with one
students in one class. In the PLT activities, before the teaching practice
students prepare in advance which begins with observation
the state of the child.
The implementation of teaching should be accompanied by an Implementation Plan
Learning (RPP) that is in accordance with the curriculum used by schools.
The curriculum used in SKA Bina Anggita is Curriculum 2013. Besides
teaching activities, students also do other activities that exist in school
such as mentoring morning counseling, flag ceremony accompaniment, mentoring
karawitan, dancing accompaniment, singing assistance, road assistance
healthy and swimming, as well as integration and other sensory accompaniment. Implementation of PLT
this is very beneficial for both parties involved, in particular
college student. Students get new experiences to educate and deliver
learning directly to children with special needs, especially here
