This research is a qualitative approach. Subject
the research was the person in charge of the business unit and the quadriplegic santri in the cottage
Madania boarding school, Banguntapan, Bantul. Data collection is done with
using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The instrument
used are observation guides, interview guidelines and document analysis.
Data analysis was carried out by qualitative descriptive data analysis.
The results of the study show that: (1) learning is adjusted
with each division and business unit, the learning component includes the objectives
learning, students, educators and learning materials, steps
learning includes assessment, orientation, demonstration, structured training, practice
guided, independent training, learning materials tailored to the division unit
effort, learning barriers in the form of lack of motivation and physical conditions
varies which is overcome by providing moral support and conducting assessments;
(2) the learning method used is the direct learning method
(direct instruction), chosen because of the suitability of the material and the learning objectives with
learning methods and flexibility of learning scope, method implications
contained in the objectives, steps and learning material; (3) product yield
learning is bottled water and puzzles.
