The Effect of Exercise Methods (Whole Part and Mini Games) With Hand Eye Coordination on the Ability of Passing Down Volleyball.

This study aims to find out: 1) differences in effects between whole part training methods and mini games training methods on volley down passing ability, 2) differences in influence between students who have high and low hand eye coordination on volleyball bottom passing ability, and 3 ) interaction between training methods and hand eye coordination to increase the ability to pass under volleyball.
This research is an experimental study with a factorial design of 2 x 2 at a significant level of α = 0.05. This research was carried out in Jambi City Public Middle School. A sample of 32 students was determined by the group distribution of 27% upper limit and 27% lower limit. Data collection techniques: 1) Determination of the sample based on the results of the eye coordination test of the extracurricular students of State Junior High Schools in Jambi City and 2) Conducting an initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) underhand passing ability of volleyball. The instrument uses 2 tests, namely Tennis Ball Capture Test with validity (0.812) and reliability (0.880). Fenanlampir and Faruq Passing Tests with validity (0.783) and reliability (0.820). Data analysis techniques using two ANAVA with a significance level of α = 0.05.
The results of the study: 1) shows the significance value ρ of 0.006 <0.05, meaning that Ho is rejected. There are differences in the effect between whole part training and mini games training on the ability to pass under volleyball. Mini games have a better effect than whole part exercise on the ability to pass under volleyball, 2) shows the significance value ρ of 0,000 <0.05, meaning that Ho is rejected. There is a difference in influence between students who have high and low hand eye coordination on the ability to pass under volleyball. Students who have high hand eye coordination are better than students who have low hand eye coordination on the ability to pass under volleyball, 3) show a signi ﬁ cant value ρ of 0.015 <0.05, meaning that Ho is rejected. There is a significant interaction between training methods and hand-eye coordination on the ability to pass under volleyball.
