DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION SETTLEMENT MODULE OF CLOTHING ON BASIC TECHNOLOGY SUBJECT OF SEWON BANTUL STATE 1ST VOCATIONAL SCHOOL.

This study aims to: 1) develop teaching materials for the Clothing Edge Completion Module at SMK Negeri 1 Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta 2) test the feasibility of teaching materials for the Apparel Settlement Module of the SMK Negeri 1 Sewon. This research is a Development Research (Reaserch Development) using Borg and Gall development model adapted by Puslitjaknov Team with 5 stages which include: (1) product analysis to be developed, (2) initial product development, (3) expert validation, (4 ) Small-scale trials, (5) large-scale trials and final products. This module validation was carried out by 2 media experts and 2 material experts consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 subject teacher. This study involved 6 students as small-scale field trials, and 32 boutique X fashion students at SMK Negeri 1 Sewon as a large-scale field trial. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The validity used in this study is to use content validity and construct validity, while for reliability uses Cronbach's Alfa reliability. The data analysis technique that was carried out was descriptive data analysis in the form of a description of the suggestions from the experts as well as the assessment data which was then converted into a score score with a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that: 1) successful completion of the clothing edge completion module is in accordance with the development model of the Puslitjaknov Team with five stages, namely: a) product analysis to be developed, b) initial product development, c) expert validation and revision, d) Small-scale trials, e) large-scale trials and final products. 2) the results of module validation were carried out by 2 experts, namely the material expert gained an average score of 21 and the media expert gained a mean score of 29 so that when viewed from the table the feasibility criteria of the module were included in the category "feasible". Large-scale trials conducted by 32 students obtained results, a very good category of 29 students with a percentage of 92% and a good category of 3 students with a percentage of 8%. This shows that the overall edge edge module has been understood by students. The final product of this development research is teaching material in the form of a clothing edge learning module that has been declared feasible and can be used as teaching material in basic subjects of sewing technology at SMK Negeri 1 Sewon.
