INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SOCIAL EDUCATION ABOUT SEX EDUCATION FOR STUDENT CLASS VII SMPN 3 PAKEM

This study aims to develop a good interactive multimedia and can be used as a source of information delivery of sex education in counseling services for junior high school students. Sex education materials referred to in this study include the discussion of reproductive organ changes, menstruation, wet dreams, pregnancy and its effects on adolescents, sexually transmitted infections and sexual aberrations.
This research is a type of R & D research using Borg & Gall development model. The development procedure is: 1) Research and data collection, 2) Planning, 3) Initial product development, 4) Initial field test, 5) Revision of initial field trial results, 6) Main field trial, 7) Revision of results main field trials, 8) Operational field trials, 9) Final product revision. Subjects in this study were 45 students of grade VII SMPN 3 Pakem. The methods used in data collection are observation and questionnaire. Technique of analyzing research data using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
The results of this study indicate that the interactive medium of sex education is good for VII junior high school students. The quality of multimedia is evidenced by the results of initial field trials through validation tests by material experts with final score of 82.5% (good) validation test by media experts with final score of 76.4% (good). The media feasibility assessment was also reinforced by primary field trial results at SMP with a final score of 78.3% (good) and an operational field test with a score of 83.4% (good)
