Abstract : Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
(DHF) is still a public health problem to date. This disease
can be found in almost all countries with tropical and subtropical climates. In
Indonesia itself, this disease is still a problem in 41 years.
This study aims to determine the effect of reference doses Abate
(temephos 1% = 300 mg / L) and Bacillus thuringensis var. Israelensis (0.02 ml / L)
against the death of Aedes sp. This research is research
Quantitative field using a quasi experimental approach
conducted at the Office of Port Health Class II Samarinda Work Area
Sangatta Regency of East Kutai. The results showed temephos1% with
a concentration of 300 mg / L is capable of shutting down the entire Aedes sp sample of larvae. on
hour 4 or 240 minutes while Bacillus thuringensis var. Israelensis
at the 10th hour or the 600th minute. Both are still larvasidas
effective in lethal larvae Aedes sp.
